Sixty Trips Around the Sun
800 Words
The title of my Blog posts is inspired by a quirky television show “800 Words” which tells the story of a recently widowed father who quits his job as a popular 800-word columnist for a top-selling Sydney newspaper and moves his two children to a remote New Zealand seaside town. After a couple of attempts, I found that the exercise to write only 800 or so words was helpful to focus my attention on what was most important to say. I hope my readers feel the same.
