The Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps (2019)
In August of 2019, the Hudson High School “Swing” Band played host to The Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps who were on their way to Nationals in Indianapolis. The Blue Knights are a World Class competitive junior drum and bugle corps. They are based in Denver and have toured across the country for 44 seasons. Their show in 2019, entitled “…I Remember Everything”, featured the music of Sudden Throw by Ólafur Arnalds; Liquid by Jay Bocook, Kevin Shah, and Mike Jackson; Hurt by Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails); and Lonely World by Moses Sumney. It was a great experience for the High School students to witness the next level of musical skill, programming and exceptional talent.
