The Community of Saint John was established in 2012 and is committed to following Jesus’ way of love in our own time and our own day. The essence of our Community was established by our Lord in the calling of his disciples (followers or students) to be one with one another even as Jesus and God were one. Our Community exists to support the belief that God created us to live in community where people are earthed and find their true identity.

We are a community of transformation: a group of faithful Christians striving to follow the simple way of Jesus. This is by no means the only way, but merely one avenue by which we seek to go more deeply into the freedom to love one another. The Community of Saint John is a work in progress. We learn from one another how to live faithfully in the here and now. Our hope for this faith family is to become a visible expression of love on behalf of each other and for the world.

Rejoice in the Lamb

In this season of Easter, The Community of Saint John celebrates our Lord's resurrection with a reflection and performing excerpts from Benjamin Britten's Rejoice in the Lamb, Opus 30. Brian Suntken is the homilist with Jacob Moore, the soloist, accompanied by Anne Wilson.

“Tell Me What You Believe.”

Difficult times call for all of us to stand up and declare what we believe to be true about our lives, our nation, and especially our faith. Using the message of Jesus from the first chapter of Mark, Brian Suntken offers a message of hope in the times in which we live. Service Date: January 24, 2021.
