The Bible and the Backstory
A series of programs dedicated to filling in the backstory of the narratives found in the Bible. With his passion for learning and teaching, plus his many trips to Israel/Palestine, Brian uses all of the tools available to him to bring the Biblical story to life looking at the historical, theological, archeological, spiritual, and literary perspectives. In addition, Brian presents why scholars believe what they believe. Teaching should engage students and encourage further study. Brian’s hope is that after watching these programs, participants will take and read the Bible discovering for themselves the great truths of the narrative.
Joseph and Adversity
The story of Joseph (you remember - the guy with the multi-colored coat!) reminds us, in the times in which we live, on how we can overcome adversity and meet the challenges of the day. Brian shares some insight from this saga found in the Book of Genesis.
